David Thomson - President
David Thomson is a Senior Business Analyst at Pilot Travel Centers in Knoxville, Tennessee. He has been working in system and business analysis in a variety of different roles in corporate information systems for over 30 years. With experience in application development, system administration, and product support, he is passionate about process improvement and working with customers to meet their needs with appropriate solutions that deliver value to them. David is an IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP®) and has achieved the Agile Analysis (IIBA®-AAC) Certification as well as the IIBA Certificate in Product Ownership Analysis (IIBA®-CPOA). He also holds the Scrum Alliance certifications of Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM) and Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®), and is a Certified SAFe® Agilist (SA).

 


Shawnice Beard - Vice President of Professional Development
Shawnice Beard, a multi-talented individual from Chattanooga. Shawnice's Bachelor of Science degree in Community and Public Health from Middle Tennessee State University has equipped her with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in her various roles. Currently, she serves as the Technical Business System Analyst at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee. In her role, she gathers and analyzes business systems and processes to determine where improvements can be made. In addition to her other responsibilities, Shawnice is active on several local boards such as Rotaract of Chattanooga and Leadership Chattanooga Alumni Board.
On top of her corporate and service duties, Shawnice is also the proud owner of Callie's Avenue, an online store that provides fashionable matching mommy and me clothing to create bonding experiences between mothers and their children. Alongside the clothing line, Shawnice serves as advocates for postpartum depression awareness and support, offering a supportive community, valuable resources, and educational content. Shawnice aims to empower and uplift mothers, foster connections, and provide a platform for them to navigate motherhood with style, confidence, and a sense of belonging.

 


Courtney D. Bramlett - Treasurer
Courtney D. Bramlett has been with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee for seven years in Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) and her current role is Enterprise Business Systems Consultant. During her tenure, she has held various roles, including Business Analyst, Product Owner, ScrumMaster, and Agile Coach. Her focus is ensuring internal and external customers business needs are met and establishing an effective collaboration between EIT and the business stakeholders. Courtney is an IIBA Entry Certificate in Business Analysis™ (ECBA®), IIBA-AAC (Agile Analysis Certification) and has a Scrum.org certification of Professional ScrumMaster® (PSM) along with certifications in SAFe® 4 Agilist (SA) and SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM). She holds a master’s in organizational leadership from Belhaven University.

 


Justin Smith - Vice President of Membership
Justin Smith serves as Product Owner at Rhinogram. Previously, he served as Business Analyst for Pilot in Knoxville, TN and OrthoFi in Denver, CO. Justin is passionate about detailed requirements elicitation and serving as a liaison between the business and IT/Engineering. Justin also loves facilitation and overseeing ceremonies such as standup, planning, retrospective, etc. Justin graduated from Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, GA with a B.S. in Organizational Management.

 


Jordan Eisenback - Vice President of Marketing & Communication
Jordan Eisenback is a Business Analyst at Pilot. He has 6 years of experience in operations and business analysis across various corporate information systems roles. Jordan loves solving problems and understanding how complex systems work. He holds a Master’s degree in English Literature from Boston University and is a Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO).
